Sunday Service:  Guest Speaker Minister Hazel Cherry.  Native of Oakland, CA.  Passionate writer, advocate, theater actress and educator.  Her ministry is centered on Black Women and Girls but has worked with organizations on multiple issues.  She is a founding member of Bread for the World’s Pan African Young Adult Network (PAYAN), a group that engages young adults on eradicating poverty and hunger.  Founder of Sisters Speak, an online platform that celebrates Black Women.  Her motto:  If you discover an issue in society that breaks your heart, do your part to mend it.
